Hi all, my name is Scott "QTIP" Osterhoudt. I am on the board of directors for the River City Disc Golf Association (www.rcdga.org).

I just wanted to make an introduction to you all, we are a nonprofit organization that supports disc golf and all disc sports in general. Disc golf is another great disc sport, fun for all ages and genders. Like ultimate it is usually free to play, and fun for all!

I hope that you will check out our website and hopefully give disc golf a chance. Most of us have been ultimate players for many years.

Thanks for the info QTIP. I've played disc golf quite a few times and really enjoy the game. You should join us in some of our pick up games since you mentioned some of you are ultimate players too.


Apparently, this is what disc golf in Alaska is like. Razz Looking forward to it!

Awesome! I will def make it out sometime to play with you guys. I think one of my friends is coming out tonight to meet up with you guys. His name is Mario, he is a good guy!

Hopefully you guys can make it to one of our functions. We have monthly tournaments (One a month Sat. @ 10:00), weekly random doubles (every Wed. @ 5:30), and weekly handicap rounds (every Sun. @ 10:00).

Do you know Adam that goes to UNF?

Whats up QTIP,

I know theres a few on Jaxul that head out to the Ed Austin course casually.

I just played a couple weeks back.....mind you a little ghetto, using a my trusty 175g Discraft Ultra Star (played so you only had to hit the chains). It was a good time and FREE!

Found the course map on your site....which would have been helpful at the time we played....will know next time!!

Anyway.....I could see us a getting a group together to play.....maybe even with fancy disc and all.

the 13-year-old girls were suitably impressed.
good thing they don't test for steriods in disc golf.
